In the morning session, participants will join forces with the Hi-Lo’s to learn two pieces, and after lunch, rehearse three more pieces with the Penn State Glee Club. The day concludes with an informal public performance for which admission is free. If a director is bringing an intact men’s choir, that choir may also perform on the final concert.

Penn State voice faculty will be available to offer individual, 20-minute voice lessons (at no cost) in the morning. These lessons are intended for Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores who are seriously considering studying voice at college. Lesson spots will be filled in the order that applications are received. A one hour workshop will be offered for teachers, led by Dr. Bryan Nichols, new faculty member for Choral Music Education. ACT48 credit will be available for teachers for the whole day.
$15 per student. Checks should be made payable to Penn State Glee Club and mailed to Dr. Christopher Kiver, Men of Song Festival, Penn State University, 233 Music Building I, University Park, PA 16802.
