For the first time in 10 years, the Penn State Glee Club is proud to release their latest CD: “When Music Sounds.” Under the direction of Dr. Christopher Kiver, the CD features Glee Club favorites from concerts spanning 2010 – 2015. In addition, the CD includes pieces from the Glee Club’s 125th anniversary concert at Eisenhower Auditorium. With over 100 Glee Club members returning for the historic event, “When Music Sounds” perfectly captures the sounds and the memories of the concert with tracks featuring the alumni and combined choruses. Also groundbreaking is the inclusion of three commissioned Glee Club pieces: “Son our Father,” “Draw On, Sweet Night,” and the title track, “When Music Sounds.” With such a wide array of choral music, the latest addition to our music library is sure to be a hallmark of the Glee Club for years to come!
